Edin finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER) 6-4, then won 9-7 against Noe Traub (Lausanne, SUI) and 10-0 against Irene Schori (Langenthal, SUI). Edin won 6-5 against Magnus Nedregotten (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Edin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
