In their opening game, Alberta's Megan Kirk defeated Northwest Territories's Kate Jefferson 11-3, then went on to lose 8-5 against Manitoba's Calleen Friesen. Alberta's Megan Kirk responded with a 11-3 win over Prince Edward Island's Meaghan Hughes. Alberta's Megan Kirk went on to lose 7-5 against Northern Ontario's Tracy Fleury. Alberta's Megan Kirk responded with a 10-6 win over Nova Scotia's Sarah Murphy. Alberta's Megan Kirk won 8-4 against Saskatchewan's Mandy Selzer, then won 5-4 against Newfoundland / Labrador's Stacie Curtis. Alberta's Megan Kirk went on to lose 15-9 against British Columbia's Kirsten Fox. Alberta's Megan Kirk lost 8-2 to Ontario's Lisa Farnell where Alberta's Megan Kirk responded with a 12-8 win over Quebec's Sophie Morissette. Alberta's Megan Kirk went on to lose 7-4 against New Brunswick's Mary Jane McGuire in their final qualifying round match.
