To advance to the championship game, Schwaller won 8-3 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2020 2.0 Cup in Basel, Switzerland; and won 7-6 over Sixten Totzek (FÃ¼ssen, GER) in the quarterfinals.

Schwaller finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Elena Stern (Oberwallis, SUI) 7-5, then won 5-1 against Totzek and 7-6 against Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
