Unchi Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) won 6-3 over Hyerin Kim (Chuncheon, KOR) in the Final of the Boundary Ford Curling Classic, held October 29 - November 1, 2020 at the Lloydminster Curling Club in Lloydminster, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gim won 5-4 over Amber Holland (Kronau, SK) in the semifinals of the 2021 Boundary Ford Curling Classic in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-2 over Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) in the quarterfinals.
Gim finished 2-0 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Holland 7-5, then won 7-2 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Boundary Ford Curling Classic Championship title, Gim earned 34.916 world rankings points along with the $4,200CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 12th place overall with 177.119 total points. Gim ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 79.635 points earned so far this season.
