Jan Iseli (Solothun, SUI) finished 4-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Iseli lost 7-4 to Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE), then responded with a 7-4 win over Sergio Vez (Vitoria-Gasteiz, ESP). Iseli won 7-4 against David Sik (Prague, CZE), then won 7-6 against Bjorn Jungen (Bern, SUI). Iseli went on to lose 6-3 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Iseli responded with a 7-3 win over JeongJae Lee (Seoul, KOR) to advance to a C-Qualifier game where they lost 7-2 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.

Iseli earned 6.793 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 152nd place overall with 16.575 total points. Iseli ranks 112th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.395 points earned so far this season.
