In their opening game, Gim defeated Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) 5-3, then won 5-2 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 7-6 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
