Elena Stern (Oberwallis, SUI) finished 9-0 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stern defeated Binia Feltscher (Langenthal, SUI) 9-6, then won 6-5 against Irene Schori (Limmattal, SUI) and 7-6 against Nora Wuest (Wetzikon, SUI). Stern won 8-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI), then won 8-5 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) and 5-4 against Emma Suter (Lausanne, SUI). Stern won 8-6 against Tirinzoni, then won 9-4 against Feltscher and 4-3 against Wuest in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the SWISSCURLING Championship Championship title, Stern earned 57.590 world rankings points. Stern move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 48.432 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 5th overall with 333.591 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
