Layla Al-Saffar (Forfar, SCO) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Al-Saffar defeated Hannah Farries (Dumfries, SCO) 12-0, then won 9-6 against Susie Smith (Greenock, SCO) and 7-2 against Kara Findlay (Edinburgh, SCO). Al-Saffar went on to lose 9-5 against Beth Farmer (Kinross, SCO). Al-Saffar lost 6-5 to Fay Henderson (Dumfries, SCO). Al-Saffar lost 9-8 to Lisa Davie (Stirling, SCO). Al-Saffar lost 7-3 to Amy Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Al-Saffar earned 2.164 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Al-Saffar did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Al-Saffar ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
