Gauthier went on to lose 7-3 against Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB). Gauthier responded with a 8-4 win over Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Gauthier earned 7.558 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Gauthier did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
