Sutherland responded with a 10-7 win over Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL). Sutherland went on to lose 8-5 against Kaila Buchy (Kimberley, BC). Sutherland responded with a 11-10 win over Ashley Thevenot (Saskatoon, SK). Sutherland went on to lose 8-3 against Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB). Sutherland responded with a 7-5 win over Taylour Stevens (Halifax, NS). Sutherland went on to lose 10-5 against Noemie Gauthier (Kenogami, QC). Sutherland lost 7-6 to Melodie Forsythe (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Sutherland earned 6.298 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 27 of the event schedule, Sutherland did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
