Brunton went on to lose 9-6 against Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB). Brunton responded with a 7-5 win over Kaila Buchy (Kimberley, BC). Brunton won 10-1 against Tyanna Bain (Inuvik, NT), then won 10-3 against Bayly Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) in their final qualifying round match.

Brunton earned 6.298 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
