Gauthier went on to lose 11-3 against Graeme Weagle (Chester, NS). Gauthier responded with a 9-4 win over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB). Gauthier won 7-5 against Jacob Horgan (Sudbury, NONT), then won 8-5 against Tyler Smith (Montague, PEI) and 10-6 against Bruce. Gauthier won 5-4 against Hayato Sato (New Westminster, BC), then won 6-2 against Ryan Jacques (Edmonton, AB) and 6-5 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the New Holland Canadian Junior Mens Championship Championship title, Gauthier earned 22.902 world rankings points. For week 27 of the event schedule, Gauthier did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gauthier ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
