Augustin5-1 at 2019 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event

Hannah Augustin (Kitzbuehel, AUT) finished 5-1 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Augustin defeated Hye-Ji Jang (Uiseong, KOR) 6-5, then went on to lose 9-2 against Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR). Augustin responded with a 8-5 win over Akvile Rykove (Vilnius, LTU). Augustin won 7-2 against Nigeria's Susana Cole, then won 10-4 against Slovakia's Daniela Matulova and 7-5 against Netherlands's Lisenka Bomas in their final qualifying round match.

Augustin earned 8.839 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.84 after improving upon their best so far this season. Augustin ranks 124th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.840 points earned so far this season.
