Peterson finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks, AK) 5-2, then won 10-6 against Delaney Strouse (Malvern, PA) and 9-3 against Rachel Workin (Fargo, ND). Peterson won 10-9 against Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN). Peterson went on to lose 8-7 against Sinclair. Peterson responded with a 8-1 win over Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN). Peterson won 12-3 against Patti Lank (St. Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the USA Curling National Championship Championship title, Peterson earned 37.514 world rankings points. For week 30 of the event schedule, Peterson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Peterson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
