To advance to the championship game, Barker won 5-4 over Lorraine Schneider (Regina , SK) in the semifinals of the 2019 Saskatoon Nutana SWCT Event in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 7-2 over Jessica Mitchell (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Saskatoon Nutana SWCT Event in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
Barker finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker defeated Kyla Thies (Regina, SK) 6-4, then won 8-1 against Shalon Fleming (Regina, SK) and 8-2 against Michelle Englot (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Saskatoon Nutana SWCT Event Championship title, Barker earned 20.636 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque. Barker move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 14.8 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 50th overall with 98.754 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Barker ranks 40th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 57.908 points earned so far this season.
