Strong finished 4-1 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strong defeated Mackenzie Glynn (St. John's, NL) 12-0, then went on to lose 8-3 against Curtis. Strong responded with a 9-4 win over Wendy Dunne (St. John's, NL). Strong won 6-4 against Mackenzie Mitchell (St. John's, NL), then won 9-4 against Lauren Barron (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Cabot Spiel Championship title, Strong earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN first prize cheque.
