Wipf finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wipf defeated Alberta's Clarence Cheung 7-4, then went on to lose 9-7 against Marcus Sawiak (Sherwood Park, AB). Wipf responded with a 6-5 win over Alberta's Josh Kroker in their final qualifying round match.
