In their opening game, Brundidge lost 12-1 to Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, USA), droppimg another game, 10-1 to Dominik Maerki (Chaska, MN). Brundidge lost 7-6 to Korey Dropkin (Chaska, USA). Brundidge lost 7-3 to Steven Birklid (Mountlake Terrace, WA) where Brundidge responded with a 8-0 win over Todd Birr (Ham Lake, MN). Brundidge went on to lose 7-5 against Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA). Brundidge lost 8-4 to Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA). Brundidge lost 1-0 to John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Brundidge lost 10-5 to Kyle Kakela (Rolla, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Brundidge earned 2.334 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 77th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.974 after improving upon their best so far this season. Brundidge ranks 77th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 56.507 points earned so far this season.
