In their opening game, Imes lost 4-3 to Todd Birr (Ham Lake, MN), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Dominik Maerki (Chaska, MN) where Imes responded with a 8-4 win over Jason Smith (Blaine , MN). Imes went on to lose 9-1 against Jed Brundidge (St. Paul, MN). Imes lost 5-2 to Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.
