Ulsrud responded with a 10-5 win over Alberto Pimpini (Turin, ITA) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 8-2 against Hess to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 6-4 win over Felix Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

Ulsrud earned 18.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Grand Prix Bern Inter Curling Challenge, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -1.254 after improving upon their best so far this season.
