Kaufman finished 3-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kaufman lost 6-3 to Koana, then responded with a 5-2 win over Eun-jin Oh (Jeonbuk, KOR). Kaufman won 9-4 against Diane Gushulak (Vancouver , BC), then won 8-1 against Kaila Buchy (Kimberley, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sunset Ranch Kelowna Double Cash, Kaufman take home 15.401 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 84th place overall with 45.002 total points. Kaufman ranks 104th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.401 points earned so far this season.
