Sherrer finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sherrer lost 9-8 to Glenys Bakker (EDMONTON, AB), then responded with a 6-4 win over Rhiley Quinn (Calgary, AB). Sherrer won 7-6 against 's Kellie Stiksma, then won 8-2 against Marks in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Avonair Cash Spiel Championship title, Sherrer earned 23.288 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 11 of the event schedule, Sherrer did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sherrer ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
