To advance to the championship game, Hasselborg won 8-5 over Tabitha Peterson (McFarland , USA) in the semifinals of the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia; and won 7-3 over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Pictou County, Nova Scotia;
Hasselborg finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hasselborg defeated Elena Stern (Oberwallis, SUI) 6-4, then won 4-3 against Amber Holland (Lethbridge, AB). Hasselborg went on to lose 8-1 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Hasselborg responded with a 6-5 win over Robyn Silvernagle (North Battleford, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Kioti Tractor Tour Challenge Tier 1 Championship title, Hasselborg earned 81.956 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 551.595 total points. Hasselborg ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 211.248 points earned so far this season.
