Brunton finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brunton defeated Megan Balsdon (Woodstock, ON) 7-4, then went on to lose 7-2 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS). Brunton responded with a 5-4 win over Chrissy Cadorin (St. Thomas, ON). Brunton won 4-3 against Auld in their final qualifying round match.
