Advancing directly to the semifinals, Tardi won 7-5 over Daniel Wenzek (New Westminster, BC) to advance to the championship game. of the 2019 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
Tardi finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tardi defeated Wenzek 8-2, then won 7-1 against Sean Geall (Abbotsford, BC) and 10-4 against Mark Longworth (Vernon, BC). Tardi won 6-0 against British Columbia's Steve Wright in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Tardi earned 23.214 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque. Tardi move up 8 spots after posting a net gain of 14.607 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 33rd overall with 119.269 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Tardi ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 41.805 points earned so far this season.
