To advance to the championship game, Schwaller won 6-3 over Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2019 Baden Masters in Baden-Daettwil, Switzerland; and won 8-7 over Magnus Ramsfjell (Trondheim, NOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Baden Masters in Baden-Daettwil, Switzerland;
 
Schwaller finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Fredrik Nyman (Stockholm, SWE) 7-2, then won 9-2 against Yves Wagenseil (Bern, SUI) and 4-3 against Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO). Schwaller won 6-5 against Sebastian Wunderer (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in their final qualifying round match.
