Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO) run at the 2019 Scottish Junior Curling Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-5 loss to Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO). of the 2019 Scottish Junior Curling Championships in Aberdeen, Scotland;
Gallacher finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gallacher defeated Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) 9-2, then won 8-4 against Angus Bryce (Kelso, SCO) and 8-5 against Euan MacDiarmid (Forfar, SCO). Gallacher went on to lose 8-3 against Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). Gallacher responded with a 7-6 win over Kinnear. Gallacher went on to lose 8-7 against Fraser Morton (Dumfries, SCO). Gallacher responded with a 6-5 win over Blair Haswell (Stranraer, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
Gallacher earned 9.084 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Junior Curling Championships. For week 24 of the event schedule, Gallacher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gallacher ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
