Euan MacDiarmid (Forfar, SCO) finished 2-5 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDiarmid defeated Fraser Morton (Dumfries, SCO) 10-2, then went on to lose 10-8 against Blair Haswell (Stranraer, SCO). MacDiarmid lost 8-5 to Hamish Gallacher (Dumfries, SCO). MacDiarmid lost 8-3 to Callum Kinnear (Perth, SCO). MacDiarmid lost 8-2 to Ross Whyte (Dumfries, SCO). MacDiarmid lost 10-2 to Angus Bryce (Kelso, SCO) where MacDiarmid responded with a 8-4 win over Orrin Carson (Dumfries, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

MacDiarmid earned 1.603 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, MacDiarmid did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDiarmid ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
