Carter Watkins (Winnipeg, MB) lost 8-7 to Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Stonewall Family Foods Junior Classic, held October 11 - 14, 2018 at the Stonewall Curling Club in Stonewall, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Watkins won 6-4 over Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Stonewall Family Foods Junior Classic in Stonewall, Manitoba, Canada; and won 9-4 over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Watkins finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Watkins defeated Zachary Wasylik (Winnipeg, MB) 10-4, then won 9-3 against Liam Wachal (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-5 against Jayden Rutter (Winkler, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
