To advance to the championship game, Flaxey won 6-0 over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 9-2 over Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Flaxey finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flaxey defeated Jackie Dewar (Winnipeg, MB) 9-1, then won 11-4 against Melissa Runing (Mankato , MN) and 9-1 against Katie Chappellaz (Brandon, MB). Flaxey went on to lose 7-6 against Brown. Flaxey lost 4-3 to Jie Mei (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic, Flaxey take home 22.829 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN prize. For week 6 of the event schedule, Flaxey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
