Jaimee Gardner (Burlington, ON) won 5-4 over Kirsten Marshall (Kitchener, ON) in the Final of the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel, held October 11 - 14, 2018 at the Stroud Curling Club in Innisfil, Canada. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Gardner won 7-5 over Chelsea Brandwood (Toronto, ON) to advance to the championship game. of the 2018 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada;

Gardner finished 3-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gardner defeated Alison Goring (Markham, ON) 8-1, then won 7-6 against Jenna Enge (Thunder Bay, NONT). Gardner went on to lose 9-8 against 's Julie Hastings. Gardner responded with a 10-0 win over Marteen Jones (Lakefield, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel Championship title, Gardner earned 18.310 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 26 spots the World Ranking Standings into 83rd place overall with 43.987 total points. Gardner ranks 46th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.697 points earned so far this season.
