Martin finished 3-1 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Nola Zingel (Lloydminster, AB) 7-2, then went on to lose 10-4 against Alberta's Holly Scott. Martin responded with a 10-2 win over Sara England (Regina, SK). Martin won 7-5 against Alberta's Jodi Marthaller in their final qualifying round match.
