To advance to the championship game, Russia's Uliana Vasilyeva won 5-4 over United States's Cory Christensen in the semifinals of the 2017 Biosteel Oakville Fall Classic in Oakville, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-3 over Katelyn Wasylkiw (Unionville, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Biosteel Oakville Fall Classic in Oakville, Ontario, Canada;
