EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR) lost 9-8 to Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) in the Final of the Stockholm Ladies Cup, held September 29 - October 1, 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Kim won 7-6 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2017 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden; and won 6-4 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden;

Kim finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) 6-5, then won 5-3 against Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI). Kim went on to lose 7-6 against Tirinzoni. Kim responded with a 7-5 win over Anette Norberg (Uppsala, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Stockholm Ladies Cup, Kim take home 43.343 world rankings points along with the $10,095CDN prize, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 21st place overall with 214.782 total points. Kim ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.793 points earned so far this season.
