To advance to the championship game, Flasch won 7-3 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2017 College Clean Restoration Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 3-1 over Brady Clark (Seattle, WA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 College Clean Restoration Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
Flasch finished 4-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flasch defeated Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK) 6-5, then won 5-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-2 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Flasch won 7-4 against Epping in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the College Clean Restoration Curling Classic Championship title, Flasch earned 53.776 world rankings points along with the $9,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 27th place overall with 165.363 total points. Flasch ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 54.773 points earned so far this season.
