Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) won 6-2 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final of the Players' Championship, held April 10 - 15, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 5-4 over Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 5-4 over John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Koe finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Epping 7-3, then won 10-8 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) and 8-5 against John Shuster (Duluth, USA). Koe won 6-5 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-4 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Players' Championship Championship title, Koe earned 77.482 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 45.321 after improving upon their best so far this season. Koe ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 449.986 points earned so far this season.
