To advance to the championship game, Jones won 6-5 over Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2017 Boost National in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario; and won 7-4 over Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 Boost National in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario;
Jones finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Paetz 7-0, then won 7-3 against Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) and 6-3 against Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON). Jones won 8-4 against Scheidegger in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Boost National Championship title, Jones earned 76.682 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 1st place overall with 730.749 total points. Jones ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 333.670 points earned so far this season.
