Adam Freilich (Jerusalem, ISR) finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Freilich defeated David Misun (Bratislava, SVK) 9-6, then won 7-6 against Jean Olivier Biechely (Lyon, FRA). Freilich went on to lose 9-1 against Karel Kubeska (Prague, CZE). Freilich responded with a 5-3 win over Tadas Vyskupaitis (Vilnius, LTU). Freilich won 10-4 against Lucas Munuera (San Sebastian, ESP), then won 7-6 against Alican Karatas (Erzurum, TUR). Freilich went on to lose 7-2 against Adrian Meikle (Hawarden, WAL) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships playoffs earned Freilich 8.978 world rankings points, moving up 29 spots the World Ranking Standings into 160th place overall with 25.855 total points. Freilich ranks 99th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.754 points earned so far this season.
