Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB) won 5-4 over Christie Gamble (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, held December 2 - 4, 2016 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Robichaud won 5-3 over Heidi Hanlon (Saint John, NB) to advance to the championship game. of the 2016 WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick;

Robichaud finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Robichaud defeated Denise Nowlan (Moncton, NB) 7-4, then won 6-4 against Gamble and 5-2 against Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB). Robichaud won 5-3 against Heather Munn (Saint John, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic Championship title, Robichaud earned 10.920 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN first prize cheque, moving up 44 spots the World Ranking Standings into 130th place overall with 20.432 total points. Robichaud ranks 127th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.920 points earned so far this season.
