Tallon went on to lose 7-6 against Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
Tallon earned 7.655 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 55 spots the World Ranking Standings into 202nd place overall with 16.889 total points.
