To advance to the championship game, Fleming won 6-5 over EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2016 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden; and won 7-6 over Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, Hokkaido, JPN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 Stockholm Ladies Cup in Stockholm, Sweden;
Fleming finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fleming defeated Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) 6-4, then won 5-3 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) and 6-4 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE). Fleming won 9-4 against Chiaki Matsumura (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
