Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS) won 6-2 over Nicholas Deagle (Bridgewater, NS) in the Final of the Spitfire Arms Cash Spiel, held November 27 - 29, 2015 in Windsor, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Thompson won 8-7 over Alan O'Leary (Dartmouth, NS) in the semifinals of the 2015 Spitfire Arms Cash Spiel in Windsor, Nova Scotia; and won 7-1 over Richard Barker (Windsor, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Spitfire Arms Cash Spiel in Windsor, Nova Scotia;

Thompson finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thompson lost 5-4 to Paul Dexter (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 7-4 win over Nick Hilton (Yarmouth, NS). Thompson won 6-1 against Trevor Archibald (Kentville, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Spitfire Arms Cash Spiel Championship title, Thompson earned 11.456 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 68th place overall with 68.188 total points. Thompson ranks 59th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 46.757 points earned so far this season.
