To advance to the championship game, Varnes won 6-2 over Erin Morrissey (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the 2015 StuSells Toronto Tankard in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-3 over Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 StuSells Toronto Tankard in Toronto, Ontario, Canada;
 
Varnes finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Varnes lost 6-1 to Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON), then responded with a 4-2 win over Chrissy Cadorin (Guelph, ON). Varnes won 6-4 against Chelsea Brandwood (Hamilton, ON), then won 5-4 against Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
