Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) won 7-3 over Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI) in the Final of the Dave Jones Stanhope Simpson Mayflower Cashspiel, held November 19 - 22, 2015 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 7-1 over Chad Stevens (Halifax , NS) in the semifinals of the 2015 Dave Jones Stanhope Simpson Mayflower Cashspiel in Halifax, Nova Scotia; and won 7-5 over Ian Fitzner-Leblanc (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals.
 
Gushue finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Jeremy Mallais (Saint John , NB) 8-2, then won 9-2 against Fitzner-Leblanc and 6-2 against Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Dave Jones Stanhope Simpson Mayflower Cashspiel Championship title, Gushue earned 33.965 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.908 after improving upon their best so far this season. Gushue ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 436.294 points earned so far this season.
