To advance to the championship game, Simmons won 6-1 over Sean Geall (New Westminster , BC) in the semifinals of the 2015 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 6-3 over Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Simmons finished 2-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Simmons lost 5-1 to Joanisse, droppimg another game, 4-3 to Stephen Schneider (Vancouver/Vernon, BC) where Simmons responded with a 4-3 win over Grant Dezura (Maple Ridge, BC). Simmons won 9-3 against Dave Merklinger (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Simmons earned 27.610 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 11th place overall with 243.610 total points. Simmons ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.610 points earned so far this season.
