Mouat won 5-3 against Amos Mosaner (Trentino, ITA), then won 9-2 against Gaute Nepstad (Oslo, NOR) and 9-3 against Artur Ali (Moscow, RUS). Mouat went on to lose 10-4 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, CAN). Mouat lost 7-5 to Sweden's Fredrik Nyman where Mouat responded with a 8-1 win over Robert-Kent Pall (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mouat earned 4.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the World Junior Curling Championships, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 38th place overall with 46.029 total points. Mouat ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.540 points earned so far this season.
