Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) lost 7-5 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, held March 12 - 15, 2015 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Tirinzoni won 6-4 over Laura Crocker (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the championship game. of the 2015 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
 
Tirinzoni finished 5-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) 7-5, then won 10-2 against Delia DeJong (Grande Prairie, AB) and 8-4 against Suji Kim (Seoul, KOR). Tirinzoni won 10-3 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB), then won 8-5 against Homan in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, Tirinzoni take home 12.060 world rankings points along with the $9,000CDN prize, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.81 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 135.350 points earned so far this season.
