Bay finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bay lost 6-0 to Daley Peters (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Scott Ramsay (Winnipeg, MB) where Bay responded with a 6-3 win over Kevin Brown (Winnipeg, MB). Bay won 5-4 against Steen Sigurdson (Winnipeg, MB), then won 5-4 against Kelly Lauber (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the The Sunova Spiel at East St. Paul, Bay take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN prize, moving up 30 spots the World Ranking Standings into 187th place overall with 4.180 total points.
