Grant Dezura (Maple Ridge, BC) won 8-3 over Brent Pierce (Kelowna , BC) in the Final of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, held October 3 - 6, 2014 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Dezura won 7-6 over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2014 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 5-4 over Ken McArdle (New Westminster, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2014 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Dezura finished 4-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dezura defeated Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) 5-4, then went on to lose 8-4 against Jim Cotter (Kelowna/Vernon, BC). Dezura responded with a 7-4 win over Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC). Dezura went on to lose 4-3 against Christopher Plys (Blaine, USA). Dezura responded with a 9-1 win over Randie Shen (Taipei, TPE). Dezura won 10-4 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Dezura earned 9.950 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 56th place overall with 20.950 total points. Dezura ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.450 points earned so far this season.
