Lautner went on to lose 6-3 against Tyler Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Lautner lost 5-4 to Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) where Lautner responded with a 4-2 win over Ryan McCrady (Ottawa, ON). Lautner won 7-2 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.

Lautner earned 4.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Juniors, moving up 311 spots the World Ranking Standings into 194th place overall with 4.000 total points. Lautner ranks 136th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.000 points earned so far this season.
